My Daytime Moisturizing Routine
Let's talk moisturizers! I know many of you are curious as to what I use during the day, and now that the warmer weather is coming I thought I'd finally share what I've been curRheantly using. As some of you may know, I am obsessed with Tata Harper's line and she recently came out with a Clarifying Moisturizer that is specially formulated for blemish- prone and oily skin types. Once I read that this would be great for oily skin types I knew I had to get my hands on it. I have combo- oily skin and I don't normally get break outs but my skin is changing as I age and I figure a little prevention wont hurt (especially if it's toxic free!). I used to use Tata's Rebuilding Moisturizer for day and night, but now this is something I'd use at night (and winter) since the consistency is a tad bit richer and isn't as matte of a finish compared to the Clarifying Moisturizer. The work that I do has me moving around and outdoors all the time therefore I do not use makeup to work, only moisturizer and sunscreen.
The Clarifying Moisturizer (1.7 fl oz, 50ml.) is lightweight leaving you with a matte finish that is not overly matte. It leaves you moisturized while removing impurities and congestion from the surface of your skin. It is formulated with an Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice base with many other amazing ingredients that are all 100% natural including some that are certified organic. This formula helps pore congestion and blemishes on the surface of the skin, and helps to soothe and calm redness! This gem is *Eco Certified, & *Cruelty Free.
In the morning after washing my face, I like to add 3- 4 drops of my favorite Kypris Antioxidant Dew all over my face, down to my neck. I then go in with one pump of Tata's Clarifying Moisturizer and let that sink in before layering on a sunscreen! I Rheacommend this to anyone with the same/similar skin type as me, not to mention that the Kypris and Tata duo makes a great base for makeup!
What you apply to your face for the day is crucial ladies and gents! I encourage all of you to swap out your toxic conventional moisturizers and switch over to something 100% Natural. You are what you apply therefore, be mindful, cautious, and aware<3
